The 135 series was introduced at Paris Salon in 1935 and it quickly became a sharp competitor on a racing circuits. Its driving performance are also today very impressive. The car took the first six places at the 1936 Grand Prix automobile de Marseille, a second at Le Mans in 1937 and first, second and fourth place at Le Mans in 1938.

This Delahaye 135M is powered by powerful inline 6-cylinder, 3.557cc engine with a three carburettors and power approx. 140 HP. The body was made by famous French coachbuilder Henri Chapron and the car was for a long time part of an important French collection. Chassis #801177 is in an original drivable condition with lovely patina.

Delahayes have always been remarkable automobiles. They are interesting, quick, easy to control and in this case also astonishing to look at.
